About Progressive Rehab
Progressive Rehab was established in 1995 by occupational therapists Wayne Enright and Gerard Kerr, and has been offering expert medical legal and community rehabilitation services by occupational therapists and vocational rehabilitation consultants for 20 years. Today, the clinic is a flourishing practice with over 35 professionals: occupational therapists, vocational consultants, rehabilitation assistants, administrative and operations staff. Every clinician brings a unique breadth of expertise and experience. We are proud that over half of our clinicians have been with us for more than 10 years.
Progressive Rehab specializes in a number of services for clients with a broad range of injuries and/or diagnoses: medical legal opinions, return-to-work support and job site visits, community rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and vocational rehabilitation through the lower mainland. We work collaboratively to advance the field, promote best evidence based practices, maintain objectivity, and achieve excellence. Our clinicians are active in the community providing education and presentations in our areas of practice.
Progressive Rehab clinicians are highly sought for their expertise and opinions. As leaders in medical legal assessment, they have testified for hundreds of cases and have a balanced plaintiff and defense practice. They are also known for their goal-focused approach, providing excellent return-to-work outcomes, maximizing activation, independence and safety at home and in the community while synthesizing information from a variety of sources and dealing with complex and contentious scenarios. Progressive Rehab clinicians excel in negotiation and conflict resolution. We recognize and understand differing perspectives of stakeholders.
As a partner, OrionHealth also works collaboratively with GT Hiring Solutions and their partners to offer specialized employment assessment and consult services for WorkBC Centres. The Employment Program of British Columbia is funded by the Government of Canada and province British Columbia.
