Our experienced occupational therapists provide a variety of community-based rehabilitation services for clients impacted by the cognitive, physical, psychosocial and behavioural effects of a brain injury. The therapist will assess the client and develop a goal-oriented program to maximize the client’s independence in home and community function.
Typically, the occupational therapist works as part of a community team assembled based on the client’s needs. Other members of the team may include the client’s family, physiotherapist, rehabilitation assistant, psychologist, speech and language pathologist, or family physician.
