Our vocational medical legal assessment identifies the vocational impact of an injury, illness, or divorce/separation on the client. The assessment includes a structured interview; and a range of vocational tests assessing aptitude, academic achievement and interests; incorporating pertinent information such as functional capacity findings, medical documentation and current labour market trends. Based on the findings, our vocational consultant will provide an objective opinion regarding vocational loss and future opportunity in a comprehensive and individualized report. The client’s vocational situation is summarized in the report.
The report adheres to the legal requirements for medical legal, private and public insurers and family law practices as outlined by the court.
Vocational medical legal assessments are conducted by our vocational rehabilitation consultants. All of our vocational rehabilitation consultants have master’s degrees and offer a combined total of over 35 years experience. Some have additional certification from either the Commission of Rehabilitation Counsellors or the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
